    JOB SUMMARY:

    Ingram Micro is looking for someone who is passionate about Continuous Improvement and wants to be part of a global leader in technology distribution! This person will lead the Continuous Improvement efforts within our distribution center and provide guidance and training on Lean Six Sigma principles. Partnering with our Quality Control department, this person will assist with the implementation of our Quality Management System also. An ideal candidate would be a recent college graduate or someone with 1-3 years of Continuous Improvement experience.

    RESPONSIBILITIES :

    • Drive continuously improving results by leveraging Lean principles, practices and tools, consulting skills, and change management processes
    • Directly provide formal and informal Lean training and capability building
    • Promote and facilitate associate development in various Lean tools, lean operations, and kaizen leadership
    • Ensure productive kaizen events through leading and coaching teams
    • Promote and facilitate diagnosis of work flow impediments and other wastes throughout the business, and provide subject matter expertise on appropriate tools to eliminate them
    • Improve Lean body of knowledge, training and facilitation skills by pursuing continual Lean learning
    • Actively participate in the Lean Leader global community to benchmark and incorporate best practices
    • This role will generate a significant multiple of invested cost in terms of value creation (expected 5-8x)
    • Support the administration of the site's Quality Management System and ISO certification, including conducting internal audits, analysis of customer feedback data, and data collection and analysis for quarterly management reviews.
  • Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or equivalent or experience in manufacturing, logistics or distribution field from an operation manager perspective commensurate with Current Grade Certification in Lean.
