What you'll be doing...

As a real estate consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Verizon's real estate future by supporting:

• Portfolio Optimization & Strategy: Analyzing the VZB Network portfolio to identify and optimize underutilized space, including creating a space scoring system to target locations for consolidation, give-back, or exits.

• Data Management & Analysis: Supporting the entry and maintaining the quality of network facility space data in the real estate system of record, compiling robust archives of floor plans and site data, and investigating capabilities for space attribute reporting and feature tracking.

• Space Data Innovation: Creating and deploying a 3D space data capture program to enhance visibility for decision-making, and partnering with the Worktech organization to test AI-driven solutions for space capture, design, and optimization analysis.

• Space Planning & Reporting: Ensuring planning aligns with corporate guidelines, recommending and educating on space policies and standards, presenting space utilization data to drive informed decisions, and performing routine site validations (space audits).

• Stakeholder Communication & Project Monitoring: Providing regular read-outs to portfolio strategy stakeholders, preparing executive-level presentations for plan approvals, and closely monitoring progress against plans to address deviations proactively.

• Opportunity to learn AutoCAD.

• Opportunity to gain a deeper knowledge of Verizon's data systems and a broader knowledge of Verizon's Network (and Admin) portfolio.

• Ability to work in a multi-function role across several teams within GRE.

• Exposure to leaders to present ideas and findings.

What we're looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

• Client relationship management, analytical, and reporting experience.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including in-state and out-of-state to client facilities depending on business needs.

• Valid driver's license.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlook-ups, cell calculations) with an interest in data analysis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

• Ability to read and understand architectural plans at a high level.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify improvement opportunities, evaluate options and develop solutions.

• Advanced verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

• Self-motivated, able to work well in a fast-paced and complex environment and ability to resolve business issues and proposed solutions.

• Capability to communicate effectively at all levels including executive management with excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

• Experience in all aspects of real estate including Project Management, Facilities Operations, Energy, Transactions and Portfolio Strategy.

• Strong time management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.

• Experience in Portfolio Management and ability to work independently and in group environments.

• Strong leadership, analytical and strategic thinking skills.

• Experience with workplace planning and efficiency strategies.

• Experience using a CAFM System.

• Experience with creating and populating Smartsheets.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $86,000.00 - $150,000.00.
