Leidos’ Office of Technology and the Digital Modernization Accelerator have a cool internship available to support research and development efforts focused on Zero Trust Architecture, cybersecurity maturity processes and cloud integrations. The chosen candidate will support the implementation of a zero trust architecture in an hybrid on-premises/multi-cloud environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support research and development efforts focused on Zero Trust Architectures. Evaluate technologies and map the capabilities to Zero Trust Federal Guidance
Develop evaluations on vendor solutions to identify critical capabilities and suitability for varying customers
Support technology insertion projects and assist in preparing materials for demos/presentations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Actively seeking degree in Engineering, Cyber Security, AI /ML, Computer Science, or related technical field
Completed at least 1 years toward their degree and have demonstrated a record of high performance and a willingness to learn and grow
Relevant skills in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Networking
Understanding of system engineering process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
U.S. Citizenship is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3.0 GPA.
Seeking an advance degree in Engineering, Cyber Security, AI /ML, Computer Science
Holds or working towards a technical certification (e.g. CEH, Security+, Network+, AWS SA, MCSA)
Experience developing independent research materials on technical subjects
Strong quantitative skills and detail oriented
Basic skills in problem solving, prioritization and time management
Ability to quickly learn new techniques/skills
Ability to Work in a team environment and work under pressure
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to think outside the box and identify issues, providing resolutions quickly
