SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Data Analyst is responsible for creating reporting and analytics to support the WWT Program Management organization. This role will involve working with a combination of financial and supply chain operational data to primarily develop KPI dashboards. The Data Analyst is responsible for having a data driven mindset and using this mindset to develop solutions that will aid their department’s leadership in decision making, learning, and analysis of the business.  The Data Analyst is responsible for becoming proficient in WWT financial and supply chain data and processes, in order to best serve their stakeholders with valuable and relevant analytical solutions that aid in simplifying the complex and driving data driven decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gather requirements and develop analytics solutions to support the business, using Tableau and Power BI
• Train end users in how to use tools, and answer any questions on reporting and data
• Present new solutions to business stakeholders, including executive management
• Learn and innovate within their analytical platform to provide quality business solutions
• Support production issues with their reporting and data
• Identify areas of poor data quality and work with respective process teams to educate on impact to data and reporting
• Responsible for testing of new data sources
• Responsible for working regularly with IT data teams to ensure good data quality and report performance
• Responsible for working with users throughout the company who have questions about financial and operational data, including other analytics teams.
• Identify areas where a process change will be required to support a reporting need

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics, business, or MIS required
• 3 or more years of relevant business experience preferred
• Proficiency in reporting and data visualization using Tableau or PowerBI required
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software suite
• Exposure to information technology industry is preferred
