JOB DESCRIPTION:

Leidos is seeking a talented Database Intern. The Leidos team currently supports the Social Security Administration (SSA). This position will be based out of the candidate's home office address.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review processes and procedures and help streamline them.

• Perform documentation when necessary for various projects.

• Assist with reviewing internal Leidos reporting and providing suggestions for quality improvements.

• Become familiar with Jira and ServiceNow and help the team to extract quality data from them.

• Automate Release documents in the Confluence.

• Review and document workflow automation, suggest improvements.

• Produce a code matrix from BitBucket.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university in an IT field of study or related.

• General IT knowledge and database exposure to provide support to the database administration and ETL team.

• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Willingness to learn.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• US citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of relational databases.

• Word or Excel, or some form of documentation software.

PAY RANGE:

• $44,200.00 - $68,000.00 - $91,800.00
