  • Responsibilities

    A Decision Support Analyst assists clients with business solution definition as well as campaign management and business intelligence tools and/or processes.

    In addition, you will assist clients with business solution definition as well as campaign management by fully understanding details of the client's data and Acxiom's marketing capabilities, ensuring the clients receive accurately segmented, cleansed, formatted and ready-to-market data.

    You will execute and analyze decision support processes and data to measure campaign efficiency, data accuracy, data integrity, operations performance, customer satisfaction, and cost effectiveness.

    You will provide data, analysis and recommendations to support various technical operations and ensure client satisfaction as well as research, trouble shoot, administer application administration, and conduct application user training.

    What you will do:

    • Executes marketing campaigns which may include, but are not limited to, the creation of campaign specifications, using a campaign management tool to generate the segmented audience, working with clients to validate and obtain sign-off of client deliverables and dynamic campaign execution

    • Develop, maintain and improve client relationship through client communications. May have campaign and/or reporting specialty and may be point of contact for some or all client campaigns

    • Provide data, analysis, and recommendations to support multiple technical operations and assure client satisfaction

    • Provide consultation, support, communication and training to teams and clients on campaign management tools and/or processes. Liaisons with multi-channel partners, providing question support and new set up for transfer and encryption

    • Participate in improvement process for existing solutions such as solution, tool and process changes

    • Responsible for application administration. Identify, recommend and document changes or makes appropriate changes to campaign flows. Construct and/or improve data documentation as needed and change process for clients through established procedures

    • Investigate and advise clients on potential processing efficiencies, redundancies and/or optimum use of data. Drives and shares standard methodologies, adoption of standards and lessons learned with internal Acxiom teams and the client

    • Maintain domain expertise in designated accounts and processes

    • Ensure compliance with established procedures, project requirements and service level agreements through audits and best practices

    What you will need:

    • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience
    • Campaign management experience
    • Strong understanding of relational database design and application
    • Understanding of best practices, framework, and design principals in at least 2 of the following areas:
      • SQL, Campaign Management Tools, Business Intelligence Tools, ETL Tools, UNIX/LINUX
    • Specific Knowledge of Unica (Campaign Management) (End User)
    • Knowledge of Information Technology practices
    • Specific industry knowledge
    • Demonstrate ability to own/drive communication with clients and internal stakeholders. Answering complex questions, resolving issues, conducting research for client marketing team; including marketing management
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
