    At Dell Technologies, investing in our diverse workforce is essential to our future! DT Intern Scholars Program is designed for undergraduate sophomores who self-identify as Black/African American and or Hispanic/Latinx.

    The program is a multi-year experience exposing students to different roles within the tech industry. It will provide participants with knowledge and training to strengthen technical and communication skills while building business acumen and providing visibility to career opportunities.

    As a DT Intern Scholar, you will have two internship opportunities to work in a high-performing team and provide solutions to our customers’ most complex issues. Each summer, you will be assigned an innovative project where you can quickly ramp and make real contributions. Whether delivering tools / features, testing a new product, enhancing inventory management controls or working with teams that support our customers daily, you will learn what it’s like to work in a fast-pasted organization that provides leading edge solutions to customer challenges. You’ll have opportunities to interact with leaders, other summer interns and network at professional development and social events. At the end of your tenure you’ll share what you’ve accomplished.

    Upon successful completion of the first DT Intern Scholars internship, students may receive a second DT Scholars internship offer. Those who successfully complete all DT Scholars internships and maintain high academic achievement may receive full-time job offers.

    What You’ll Get / Program Benefits*

    • 10-12 week, full-time, paid, development internship
    • Upon successful completion of a sophomore internship
      • You may gain access to a second internship opportunity following your junior year
      • Dell Technologies may also award a scholarship in the amount $5,000 paid through your school and receive a Dell XPS Laptop, contingent on acceptance of second internship offer
    • Upon successful completion of a junior internship, Dell may grant a fulltime employment offer which includes a sign-on bonus

    Program Internship Offerings

    DT Intern Scholars internship roles are available across several of Dell’s business units within the Products and Operations organization. We offer internships in 5 areas and details can be found below.

    **1. Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG): Engineering Intern **(Internship locations: Austin, TX; Hopkinton, MA; Santa Clara, CA; Seattle, WA, Remote)

    ++What You’ll Do++: The Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) at Dell Technologies delivers the essential infrastructure for organizations to build their digital future, transform IT from core to cloud to edge and protect their most important asset: information! As an ISG Engineering Intern, you will focus on the future needs of our business and our customers through a communities of practice internship model. You and your intern team will drive an end to end project connected towards one of our community themes, with support from a project lead, community members and subject matter experts in the business.

    ++Who You Are++: Working towards a Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Technology related degree | Understanding of Computer Science/Computer Engineering Foundations

    2. Client Solutions Group: Engineering Intern (Internship locations: Austin, TX; Hopkinton, MA, Remote)

    ++What You’ll Do++: Deliver the essential commercial, consumer, gaming and software solutions to individuals and organization across the globe and offer great opportunities to deliver innovation across cloud services, security, hardware, and software solutions. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will innovate, design, implement and debug modules and infrastructure created for our next generation product offering.

    ++Who You Are++: Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in the following Majors- ME, Thermal, CE, EE, IT, MIS, CS, Computing or similar fields. | for Software positions you will need proficiency in at least one of C/C++/Java/JavaScript/ Python/Node.js | Hands-on implementation experience in data structures, algorithms, and OS | Working knowledge of Linux systems, distributed systems, and cloud-related environments | For Hardware you will need proficiency in any of the design software: Creo, Fusion, ANSYS, and/or Flotherm XT/Flotherm computational fluid dynamics simulation software. (Equivalent tool experience is acceptable)

    3. Client Solutions Group: Marketing Intern (Internship locations: Round Rock, TX, Remote)

    ++What You’ll Do++: Gain real Marketing business experience and get project-based roles throughout North America Marketing Operations (COC) organization. Develop project plans/schedules, define project requirements, manage communications, and report on project status.

    ++Who You Are++: Working towards a Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Business Analytics, Finance or other related discipline.

    4. Client Solutions Group: Sales Intern (Internship locations: Round Rock, TX, Remote)

    ++What You’ll Do++: Support a key business initiative for our inside sales team and work with Inside Sales Managers and Director on a special project that will impact the organization.

    ++Who You Are++: Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or other related discipline | Strong Organizational, analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and planning skills | Experience with Excel, PowerPoint is a plus.

    5. Global Operations/Supply Chain Intern (Internship locations: Austin, TX or Hopkinton, MA, Remote)

    ++What You’ll Do++: Join a world-class Global Operations supply chain where you can drive lasting change while building a long-term career. Interns work in different areas (e.g., procurement, manufacturing & operations, logistics) of Global Operations and all interns are expected to complete analysis and present results / recommendations to management on summer projects.

    ++Who You Are++: Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial and Systems Engineering or applicable field.

  • Qualifications
    • Undergraduate degree in progress; currently in sophomore year (class of 2024)
    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering (computer, software, hardware, mechanical, systems or Q/A testing), IT, MIS, Data Science
    • A cumulative minimum GPA of 3.2
    • Strong problem solver, detail oriented with analytical skills
    • Highly motivated with a learning mindset and an ability to ramp quickly
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will make you a great collaborator on a global team
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver results with a sense of urgency
