Key Responsibilities

Uncover the truth behind cyberattacks and become a cyber defender at the forefront of security! Join our Incident Response team as a Cybersecurity Forensics Specialist and dive into the heart of high-profile investigations. Analyze digital evidence like a digital detective, track down hacker footprints, and help organizations recover from security breaches. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct digital forensic examinations on various devices and systems to identify and analyze evidence related to security breaches, cyber-attacks, or other suspicious activities. You will work closely with other team members to gather intelligence, document findings, and provide recommendations for mitigating risks and improving security posture.

**You will: **

• Perform live response activities to collect volatile data and preserve the integrity of digital evidence during incident investigations.
• Utilize forensic tools and techniques to analyze file systems, memory dumps, network traffic, and logs to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and malicious activities.
• Document and maintain chain of custody for all digital evidence collected during investigations.
• Generate detailed technical reports and presentations summarizing findings, analysis, and recommendations for remediation.
• Stay current with emerging threats, attack techniques, and forensic investigation methodologies to continuously improve incident response capabilities.

**Essential Requirements **

• Some experience in using forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Autopsy, Volatility, and open-source forensic tools.
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), file systems, and network protocols.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for incident response activities.

**Desirable Requirements **

• One or more Forensics certification is preferred, but not required.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this position is $56,270- $92,950 depending on location.
