    What you’ll be doing...

    As a Merchandising Senior Manager on the Digital team, you will be responsible for developing strategies and plans to promote Verizon’s key products and services (e.g., Mobile Plans and Segments), an assortment of subscription products and services, and associated Promotions. You will partner with a wide range of internal Marketing partners and other enterprise stakeholders to define the digital aspects of key product launches and marketing campaigns. In addition, you will leverage several data sources, market trends, and your knowledge of digital merchandising best practices to proactively define promo and product-related content to maximize engagement and the conversion of visitors into shoppers.

    Successful candidates will be able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment to ensure the on-time delivery of time-sensitive projects. This position encompasses both the Strategy and Planning aspects of Digital Merchandising, as well as tactical execution work to procure assets and facilitate implementation.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Partnering with various Marketing and enterprise stakeholders to develop digital Merchandising plans for key Product and Marketing initiatives.

    • Developing Digital Merchandising plans that promote Verizon products, taking into account audience, location, timing, content, and functionality across both web and app ecosystems.

    • Leveraging engagement, sales, voice-of-customer, and other sources of data to both analyze the performance of Merchandising campaigns or initiatives, and identify insights for future improvements.

    • Working extensively with Project Management resources to define specific merchandising and campaign requirements, timelines, and execution plans, and contribute to change and risk management activities related to implementation.

    • Leveraging Merchandising team workflow, tracking, and work-management processes and tools to request and review assets, and facilitate their implementation with various execution teams.

    • Partnering with personalization and audience insight stakeholders and partners to identify and execute audience-specific merchandising strategies.

    • Partnering with testing and optimization stakeholders and partners to identify and execute merchandising-related A/B, multivariate, and AI-driven content, design, and placement tests.

    • Partnering with upstream stakeholders and various partners across the enterprise to analyze and improve the end-to-end Merchandising process to improve speed-to-market and scalability.

    What we’re looking for...

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

    • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

    • Experience with the digital merchandising of physical products and/or subscription products in a digital environment.

    • Experience with digital Marketing, Creative, and Content Development fundamentals.

    • Experience or working knowledge of digital UI/UX best practices.

    • Experience with Engagement and Sales-related data analysis.

    • Experience with common digital SDLC processes for managing product and marketing content.

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • Experience with audience-specific merchandising or personalization a big plus.

    • Proficient in G-Suite (or other similar software).

    • Problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

    • Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple/simultaneous, highly complex, cross-functional projects/initiatives.

    • Highly responsive, reliable, and proactive.

    • Ability to work well within a team environment and under pressure of very stringent deadlines.

    • Ability to periodically support key Merchandising initiatives that may occur at night, on weekends, or over holidays.

    Where you’ll be working

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

    The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

    The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $105,000.00 - $201,000.00.
