    What you’ll be doing...

    You will be responsible for extensive testing of new products and services within the Business Organization. Candidates are responsible for ensuring a quality customer experience as measured by a successful product launch by creating a detailed test plan based on a set of requirements for specific projects. The test plan must then be executed with precision to validate requirements, identify gaps, open any issues and follow through to confirm resolution. Candidates must also work with multiple teams to resolve issues and complete final validation.

    Owning E2E testing strategy

    • ​Building a comprehensive E2E testing strategy and scope. .

    • Preparing for and become familiar with how to test the various elements of the product, and provide guidance on any test prerequisites (test software, field testing scope, lab requirements)

    • Coordinating data points for testing.

    • Actively participating in triage calls to isolate and prioritize defects.

    • Where needed, executing user-based tests using Verizon's wireless POS systems (B360, ACSS etc), recording test results. Identifying and tracking defects to full resolution using JIRA/qTest.

    Streamlining issue tracking process

    • Working with IT, Product, technology testing team to track and resolve issues and prioritize their severity.

    • Assessing product readiness and provide read out of results.

    What we’re looking for...

    Candidates must be self-motivated and have a great desire to achieve success on a high output team.

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science / engineering or four or more years of work experience.

    • Three or more years of relevant work experience in IT, with a strong background in test strategies and E2E quality and service assurance.

    • Three or more years of E2E testing, including front end (application) and back end (IT/OSS).

    • Experience in using JIRA or qTest.

    • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

    • Experience on wireless products is a plus.

    • Experience with hardware and software products test strategies.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive task completion to meet customer requested due dates.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google applications.

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • Degree in computer science, engineering or related field.

    • Continuously demonstrated expertise in a working team environment.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to influence and drive change.

    • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
