The CDW Summer Internship Program – Enterprise Operations Internship has been created to leverage the talents of junior and senior college students, especially those with an interest in working towards degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

Successful completion of this internship can lead to a Technical Support and/or Engineering level position career post-graduation.

CDW Enterprise Operations Interns will work in the Enterprise Command Center, to provide level 1 & level 2 support to current CDW Managed Services customers. The intent is also to insure the Interns have a valuable experience and consider CDW for full-time employment post-graduation.

The Enterprise Operations Internship position(s) provide an outstanding opportunity for college students interested in a career in the technology field to gain valuable experience through a summer internship. The internship will provide hands on experience in real business activities with the expectation that the successful intern contribute to the completion of core activities and project(s) across the Managed Services department.

(ECC) Enterprise Operations Internship:

• Capable of resolving critical issues in a time sensitive manner, cognizant of requisite SLA’s
• Technical support or systems administration experience
• Critical attention to detail and solid creative problem solving skills.
• Customer Service focused and a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to perform intermediate root cause analysis.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Other responsibilities & Skill sets include but not limited to:

• Ability to establish customer trust and confidence in the CDW Managed Services knowledge of and concern for customers’ business needs.
• History of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the customers while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to consistently create, update and follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse and growth-oriented environment.
• Must know when to ask for assistance. Must be approachable, teachable, a team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their experience in a highly evolving technical environment.
• Must have good time management skills and be able to meet rigid and urgent assignment schedules.

• Current enrolled in a full-time undergraduate college / university program with a junior or senior standing as of June 2017.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability effectively interact with all coworkers stakeholders, this includes senior leadership.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Strong presentation skills, including ability to develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations.
• Microsoft Office skills including, but not limited to Outlook, Excel, and Word. SharePoint a plus
• Effective ability to multi-task in order to handle multiple duties at the same time throughout the day.
• Organizational and Organizational agility skills critical
