JOB ROLE DESCRIPTION: ASSOCIATE SAP TEST AUTOMATION SPECIALIST

We’re looking for passionate, original thinkers who want to drive progress, grow their network and further their careers. As an Associate, you’ll be a part of client-facing teams as a technical specialist helping businesses change the way they work. We prioritize ongoing learning, development of consulting and/or technical skills, and continuous personal growth, all grounded in a culture of coaching and apprenticeship.

WORK YOU COULD DO AS AN ASSOCIATE SAP TEST AUTOMATION SPECIALIST

• Act as a Worksoft Test Specialist to coach project teams in learning and adopting best practices and agile methodologies for testing
• Conduct configuration and technical support activities for Worksoft Certify, Worksoft Execution Manager, and a test management tool, preferably Microfocus ALM or SAP Solution Manager Test Suite
• Develop business Test cases using automation/testing tools
• Coordinate project support efforts with other subject matter experts and product vendors

ABOUT THE CLIENT INNOVATION CENTER (CIC):

• The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our Baton Rouge center
• Some travel is expected, and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site. You are expected to travel up to 50% of the time.
• You must live in, or be willing to relocate to Louisiana.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Basic understanding of the process of Software Testing and the Software Development Life Cycle
• Introductory development background (preferably SQL, Python, or related language)
• Willing to build functional SAP experience to supplement testing capabilities
• Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology based consulting environment, using Agile

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience developing tests in Worksoft Certify, ALM, or comparable tool for web applicatioins
• Ability to design and implement an automation framework under supervision of a lead
• Experience with SAP or other ERP system
• Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, BlazeMeter) and test management tools (Zephyr Scale, QMetry, SAP Focused Build, HP ALM)
• Experience using an agile tool (Jira, Azure DevOps)
