Your Role and Responsibilities

The IBM Cloud Platform Services squad is responsible for the end-to-end content delivery of IBM Cloud infrastructure services, including integration of compute, network, and storage information. We collaborate with designers, developers, and offering managers to craft everything from UI text for embedded assistance, to product docs, CLI references, API docs, and more. What we're looking for in a software developer:

• A passion for user-centered writing and a talent for effectively conveying technical concepts in conversational style
• A personal interest in technology and/or cloud computing
• Excellent research skills and audience analysis
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, continuous delivery development environment
• Some experience with authoring content in a markup language such as Markdown, HTML, or DITA XML
• Familiarity with detailed technical content, such as APIs and SDKs
• Familiarity with working in GitHub or other source management tools
• Technical writing sample required Location: Rochester, MN; Dallas, TX; or Littleton, MA Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Some experience with authoring content in a markup language such as Markdown, HTML, or DITA XML
• Familiarity with detailed technical content, such as APIs and SDKs
• Familiarity with working in GitHub or other source management tools
