What you’ll be doing...
You’ll be working in our Federal Project Management Office providing onsite support for our Federal Government customer.
Providing vendor management support to ensure all projects are properly staffed and filled to meet requirements.
Ensure all required project service documentation is completed and up-to-date. Participate in discussions regarding future projects that are part of Verizon’s workshare.
Ensure Verizon stakeholders are engaged in future project planning and scoping efforts and provide PMO requirements for these efforts.
Provide oversight of new project implementations.
Lead and manage innovative new product projects from start to finish.
Plan, anticipate issues, and adjust to meet objectives.
Detail all phases of the project including meeting minutes, metrics, and reporting.
Drive the project and keep team members on track.

You’ll need to have:
Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Previous complex project management experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret DoD security clearance.
Telecom industry experience.
Vendor management experience.
Ability to visit client sites in the DC area.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A degree.
Project Management certification
Strong project management and supervisory skills
Managed programs and/or user experience design
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Customer service experience with internal and external clients.
Translated complex ideas to be relevant and understood by various functions and levels.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
