    The Role

    Lumen, the Pacific Northwest's premier telecom and fiber optics company, is currently looking for talented individuals looking to get into sales in your neighborhood, people that are ready to share the amazing solutions available to local households.  Our Field Sales Associates are the champions of our cutting-edge fiber optic technology who meet with customers daily and discuss their internet needs and explain how Lumen can not only meet their needs but ultimately save the day by ensuring our customers have the best solutions available to them. In addition to a flexible schedule, our Field Sales Associates receive a very competitive base salary with monthly target sales incentives.z

    Special note about this role:

    This is a Field Sales role, and most of your time will be spent out in the Field in the City or State that is listed in the job posting.

    This is NOT a 100% Work from Home role. Any tasks or duties that need to be performed other than Field assignments, can be done from home, and that is the extent of the Work from Home possibilities for this job.

    The Main Responsibilities

    • Responsible for sharing Lumen solutions with members of the community in a door to door sales approach.  This includes having energy, knowledge, and ability to overcome concerns and questions from customers. 
    • Ability to learn the basics of the fiber optic internet world and speak about the many solutions and offerings of Lumen and its subsidiaries. Over time you will be a technology expert and will receive ongoing training, feedback, and advice from industry leaders throughout your career and there are many opportunities to apply those skills in different career fields throughout the Company. 
    • Demonstrate your expertise in customer service by wowing each potential customer with each transaction.  Even if they elect not be a customer, we want them to leave the conversation with a great feeling about Lumen and the amazing team that works here. 
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain mileage/expense reports as well as the ability to police oneself with a fairly independent work schedule is a must.

    • Must maintain a valid and current driver’s license and appropriate insurance for your reliable transportation

    Salary Min: 32805

    Salary Max: 72900

    This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

    This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
