    YOUR ROLE:

    The Financial Analyst II is responsible for supporting management with financial analysis and reporting. This individual may also be responsible for forecasting, budget preparation, and business planning. This role will often be required to work on special projects as well as facilitate, review, and enhance recurring reporting and presentations. Additionally, this is a highly visible role that will regularly interact with various executive leaders cross-functionally and provides ample opportunity to grow into areas of greater responsibility.

    ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA:

    Support management with analysis and interpretation of financial data through periodic and ad-hoc financial analyses, including, but not limited to:

    • Consolidation and review of weekly and monthly reporting. Many of which are used at the executive level for strategic and financial decision making for the organization.

    • Financial modeling & scenario planning for prospective business initiatives.

    • Tracking and analysis of strategic business targets.

    • Understanding and reporting worldwide economic health and macroeconomic conditions, market share analysis and trending, and industry trend analysis.

    • Use of moderate to advanced Excel to create & consolidate data for reporting in a digestible and intuitive manner.

    PERIODIC REPORTING & PRESENTATIONS:

    Support with updating, consolidating, and analyzing recurring presentations for high level executives & reviewing periodic reporting. Specific duties include, but not limited to:

    • Review a variety of periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) reports for accuracy and reasonableness.

    • Use critical thinking skills to analyze current methods and procedures & recommend and implement improvements.

    • Prepare and build presentations for monthly & quarterly executive meetings.

    • Analyze, summarize and concisely communicate results of aforementioned reports and presentations.

    SPECIAL PROJECTS & AD-HOC REPORTING:

    • Prepare ad-hoc reports, following guidelines established by the requestor.

    • Manage successful completion of interdepartmental and departmental projects.

    • Effectively utilize team, departmental and intradepartmental resources to drive initiatives.

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

    • BA/BS Degree in Finance/Accounting or 4 years

    • 2-3 years business experience. Familiarity with working in a high-volume, highly dynamic, rapid paced environment.

    • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to make recommendations, gain agreement, and implement solutions on behalf of a diverse organization.

    • A strong level of knowledge in:

      • Spreadsheets - Excel - developing formulas, using functions such as pivot tables, v-lookup formulas, and basic excel database logic.

      • MS PowerPoint

    • Ability to work with intermediate to senior level internal associates.

    • A proficient level of financial analysis knowledge.

    • Moderate level of modeling and problem-solving skills.

    • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.

    • Willingness and determination to learn.

    • Pride in work produced.

    • Extreme attention to detail.

    • Implement own recommendations and see projects through to completion.

    • Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in group meetings and discussions.

    • Ability to give and receive information accurately.

    • Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately; to organize facts and figures; apply basic arithmetic.

    The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $61,400 - $79,800 - $98,200 per year.

    The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
