Role Overview

This intern position will contribute to the completion of core security and safety activities and projects on behalf of a Fortune 500 company. The intent is also to insure the Interns have a valuable experience and consider CDW for full-time employment post-graduation.

Key Areas of Contribution

• Assisting in our Global Security Operation Center with monitoring domestic and world events that might affect our coworkers and facilities.
• Assist with the management and data entry of CDW’s business continuity management tool.
• Assist with the rollout of CDW’s Business Impact Analysis to review our existing business continuity program across all areas of the business.
• Process, greet and screen visitors to company facilities and assist with the creation of company Badges as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate college/university program as of June 2017.

Other Required Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability effectively interact with all stakeholders.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong presentation skills, including ability to develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations.
• Microsoft Office skills including, but not limited to Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Effective ability to multi-task in order to handle multiple duties at the same time throughout the day.
• Organizational skills critical.
