As a **Hardware Electrical Engineer **you will be part of a team of highly motivated engineers and strategists who are responsible for defining the future vision of architectures and solutions for Dell client products. We are looking for engineers who are comfortable taking accountability and are able to adapt easily to meet the needs of our rapidly evolving business. The ideal engineer is customer focused, motivated by results, innovative, works well on a team, and acts with integrity.

You will:

• Incubate new products, technologies, or features that enable product innovation
• Develop POC and technical specifications for new products, features, and capabilities
• Perform research, simulation, analytical analysis, design, and physical testing for computer hardware
• Responsible for interfacing with multi-discipline teams; intellectually flexible and able to quickly understand and build upon new technology
• Development of detailed, yet clear and concise summary reports of investigations and activities

Essential Requirements

• Recent BS or MS graduate
• Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience with MS Office and other software productivity tools:  Word Processer, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Scheduling, etc.
• Hardware Component and Systems Design and development experience
• Ability to create and analyze architectural and product specifications
• Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing technologies and processes

Desirable Requirements

• Base programming skills (Python, Microsoft .net)
• Internship experience in electrical or embedded design (Equivalent school project experience or tools proficiency is acceptable)

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this position is $16.70 - $23.10, depending on location.
