    Description

    ABOUT 1901 GROUP:

    1901 Group is a division of Leidos’ Defense Group and provides IT services through the use of an integrated cloud-based platform that enables monitoring, management, and optimization of IT environments that span on-premises, co-location, and cloud computing environments.

    Internship Expectations:

    • Supporting the needs of supporting manager with 1901 Group with duties as assigned
    • Assisting the wider Operations team through various activities, such as
    • Completing job shadowing with various levels of the organization.
    • Completing IT-related training through our provided learning platform.
    • Working with supporting manager to clarify any questions about our organization.
    • Becoming proficient in ServiceNow and IT service management good practices

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be a current or matriculating high school student.
    • Must be able to work for a minimum of 8 weeks during the target semester or summer break period.
    • Experience working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Ability to learn quickly.
    • Ability to report into the Blacksburg or Reston 1901 Group/ Leidos office.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience working with one or more of the following applications: Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, Adobe Captivate, ServiceNow is a plus.
    • Familiarity with ITSM or ITIL is not required but would be a plus.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $31,200.00 - $48,000.00 - $64,800.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
