    JOB SUMMARY

    CenturyLink's internship program is a 10 week, fast-paced and exciting opportunity to gain professional experience within your field of study and career interest. Interns within the Offer Management group will be involved with team members who provide special pricing and contract support for Business and Government customers. This internship will take place in one of our three Colorado offices, Broomfield, Denver, or Littleton. In addition, interns will connect to our company culture through community outreach projects, engage with our employee resource groups and be able to develop their professional skills and business acumen through frequent exposure to senior leadership, cutting-edge technology, groundbreaking projects, and a network of mentors and fellow interns.     JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Responsible for various business functions such as sales opportunity review, strategy development, profitability analysis, and contract negotiation.
    • Review financial data as related to various requests for special pricing and identifies possible risks associated with legal terms, product descriptions, and price concessions.
    • Maintain records supporting all business cases.
    • Use keen business judgment and financial knowledge to defend and debate recommendations.
    • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Pursing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree (preferable) in Finance or Business Administration.
    • Currently enrolled at a 4-year accredited College or University at time of internship.
    • 3.0 or above cumulative GPA.
    • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to demonstrate ownership and accountability.
    • Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Flexible and adapts well to change.
    • Professional appearance and attitude.

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelors or Equivalent
    • Masters or Equivalent
