Global Organization!!! Position: Windows Support/Admin Location :
Nashville, TN Job Type: Contract Windows System Administrator The
Microsoft Windows System Administrator provides system and application
administration utilizing Microsoft Windows operating systems. Functions
Performs general administrative tasks utilizing Active Directory
including user management, permissions management, server management,
and system/network troubleshooting Provides desktop support for HP
employees and contractors Backs up servers Interacts with end users and
management for application and system issues Follows documented
processes and procedures for job tasks Utilizes a service desk and
ticketing system for tracking issues to resolution Requirements 3-5
years of professional experience in administering Microsoft
Windows-based servers Extensive exposure to Microsoft operating systems
including Windows XP, Windows 7/8, Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012
Possesses the ability to estimate work effort based on time and
resources given a set of requirements Preferred Experience in a health
care environment Experience in setting up and managing virtual machines
using VMware and SAN technologies Industry and/or Microsoft
certifications Associates or bachelors degree in Information Technology
**Please Note: this position will be sitting directly with the End
Client and not in a DXC office. Strong communication abilities are
needed by Candidates along with displaying from past the experience, the
ability to interact, troubleshoot, idea generate and problem solve in
this type of environment. Candidates will need to reside in the greater
Nashville, TN area as the position is 100% onsite! Must have a thorough
understanding of Active Directory as well as hands-on experience in
managing user accounts, containers, objects and using group policy
objects (GPOs) Experience in staging Windows servers (preferably in a
data center environment) Experience in working with hard disk
imaging/cloning products such as Ghost or Acronis Must have strong
communication abilities and well-developed customer interaction skills
Needs the ability to create an IT solution given a set of customer
requirements Must possess highly-developed troubleshooting skills
Ability to follow specific instructions, policies and procedures
Experience in using a service desk ticketing application such as BMC
Remedy or HP Service Manager Must possess a strong sense of ownership
for assigned issues and focus to efficiently carry issues through to
timely resolution / completion Should be able to describe complex issues
in simple language and concepts Ability to lead a meeting of peers or
customers including ability to create presentations with products like
Microsoft PowerPoint Ability to create and maintain HP and customer
documentation Interview Details: - 1st round will be a phoen screen with
the Hiring Manager. - 2nd round will be a Face-to-face with the Hiring
