THE ROLE

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Analyst intern in our North American Operations organization, you will work collaboratively with our Network Implementation Analytics Team to support metrics and reporting, dashboard creation, database scripting, etc. for the Network Implementation space. Tasks during the 10 weeks may include gathering analytics for network implementation and reporting from different systems like excel or PowerBI. You will need a high level of engagement and ability to take initiative, ask questions, learn quickly, and work in a team environment. Other tasks may include:

-    Data Analysis- bringing data from all over the company, cleansing data, and then reporting on data  -    Creating PowerBI dashboards -    Refreshing, evolving, and enhancing old dashboards -    Creating and enhancing existing PowerApps  -    Consolidating data for executive readouts -    Automating manual reporting

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CANDIDATE

-    Education Requirements  -    Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university- rising senior or masters level status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2022 – May 2023. -    Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.

-    Proficiency and understanding of:  -    Microsoft Suites  -    Well versed in PowerBI and SQL -    Oracle Data Marts is a plus -    PowerApps is a plus -    Python is a plus

-    Professional Attributes  -    Strong drive for results/solutions and taking initiative to resolve problems -    Comfortable approaching teammates and leadership -    High attention to detail -    Ability to communicate extremely well is necessary -    Ability to be resourceful and adaptable- independently AND in a team environment  -    Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions -    Strong written and verbal communication skills  -    Self-starter with a positive attitude

-    Work Setting -    Ideally the position will be in one of the following offices: Broomfield, CO, Littleton, CO or Remote/Work From Home -    Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours be week during the 10-week program (June – August) -    Intern must have reliable transportation to/from work location (Lumen does not provide transportation to/from Lumen office locations) -    US work authorization
