The Intern - Application Support Specialist is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of hosted application platform(s), along with related technologies to ultimately support our enterprise users, and/or corporate business processes. You will use the application management framework recommended by the vendor(s) in order to ensure “always on” services to our business partners and end users, as well as an optimal end user experience.
INTERNSHIP DETAILS:
Our intention is to have interns work on-site in Conway, Arkansas if possible. However, your internship may begin virtually and could continue virtually for its entirety. We plan to transition interns to on-site work when teams transition back into the office, but we currently do not have a timeline for this transition
20-25/week during the semester work dedication, 40 hours/week during summer and breaks
Anticipated graduation date between December 2022 - December 2023

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Provide outstanding customer service/user support, with continuous focus on the usability of the platform; troubleshooting and resolving issues for end-users
Plan and implement maintenance functions that are required to support the platform
Provide support for operational processes such as user provisioning and access/account setup, using administrative tools and platform functionality
Identify and implement opportunities to improve user adoption and data accuracy/completeness through the process of working with end-users on the system
Work with multi-functional project teams to define, build, deploy and support additional new features or configurations in the platform
Provide periodic metrics and report on health and performance of supported application platforms
Assist with gathering evidences for periodic IT and financial audits
Encourage trust-based, cooperative relationships with end-users
Work independently and optimally run assignments, timelines and deliverables
Proactively work to improve/streamline platform operations
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications
Ability to communicate efficiently - providing project status
Attention to detail, integral to monitor and audit services
General knowledge of Information Technology practices
