The Business Communications Operations intern will be supporting the broader Global Business Communications team with focus on internal/employee communications.

Main responsibilities include

• Supporting Zebra’s intranet editorial calendar by researching, editing and posting stories.
• Supporting internal meetings by providing on-site technical support, mic running and time card keeping.
• Assisting with Community Relations projects and events.
• Supporting communications campaign launches.
• Leading a pre-identified communications project that addresses a selected, strategic need of the team – for example, last year, the intern focused on how to build a formal Community Relations program.
• Should the intern candidate have the skillset, tasks would also include creative design to support website banners, campaign creative and executive presentations.

• Junior/Senior with a Bachelor Degree-Related Major (i.e. Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite; experience in content management systems (specifically SharePoint) and Basic HTML a plus.
• Ability to take initiative and balance priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and diverse subject matter.
• Strong organizational, attention to detail, time management, and project management skills.
• Strong verbal and non-verbal communications skills.
• Ready to work on a creative, collaborative and upbeat team.
