The Main Responsibilities

As an team member on our Hybrid Cloud Operations team, an intern can expect to learn to process single sign on related to Lumen's Cloud Identity Provider. Intern will engage with project teams to understand Cloud Identity workflows and policies.

Day-to-day could include:

• Processing intake requests for Cloud Services Engaging with an Application/Business team to identify and sort their Cloud Services needs
• Providing feedback to the engineering team to improve processes
• Documenting existing process or policy Learning new cloud skills for future engagements

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Education Requirements
  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior or master’s level education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2024 – June 2025.
  • Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar STEM technical degree field.
• Proficiency and understanding of; * Interest in pursuing Cloud Engineering and/or Cloud Architecture. * Interest in Cloud security. * Rough knowledge of PowerShell scripting. * Previous knowledge of Azure/GCP/AWS highly desirable. * Understand the requirements of each task and discuss the approach with more senior members of the team.
