    As a 2021 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 7, 2021 and conclude on August 13, 2021.

    About The Team

    Chex Systems, Inc. (ChexSystems) is a nationwide specialty consumer reporting agency under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). ChexSystems' clients regularly contribute information on closed checking and savings accounts. ChexSystems provides services to financial institutions and other types of companies that have a permissible purpose under the FCRA. ChexSystems' services primarily assist its clients in assessing the risk of opening new accounts.

    What You Will Be Doing

    If you are a motivated, energetic, and creative person interested in pursuing a career in Compliance, FIS wants you as our Compliance Analyst Intern for the summer of 2021. This position will provide experience focusing on Compliance, Operational Excellence and Documentation projects. You will be assisting the Consumer Relations Compliance team with projects from scope definition through implementation.

    • Interviewing subject matter experts and directly work with software products to write, re-write and edit accurate instructional documentation using Microsoft Word
    • Composing and maintaining materials including manuals, diagrams, help videos, tutorials, quick guides and specifications relating to product instructions for use in company deliverables
    • Assisting in trafficking documentation through multiple departments for approval and distribution
    • Preparing and approving internal and customer communications covering compliance issues (bulletins, position statements, monthly reports, etc.)
    • Gaining technical experience by creating new GUI windows on an existing application from business requirements to implementation
    • Creating training materials for a new GUI application
    • Testing new GUI application functionality for usability
    • Running Compliance reports daily, weekly and monthly dictated by business needs
  • Qualifications

    What You Bring

    • Rising Senior (graduating December 2021 through May 2022)
    • BA/BS in Technical Writing, Marketing, Communications or related fields
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong written and communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work well independently and within a team
