Designs and builds components of enterprise services, partnering with other development teams to ensure alignment of information and technology strategies focusing on integration, data provisioning, and reporting and analytics.

Internship Details:

• The internship will begin in January, 2024
• Internship can be remote. Depending on the intern's location we'd like to work out a schedule to work a few days a week on-site in our Conway, AR location.
• 20-25 hour/week work dedication during the semester, up to 40/week during summer and breaks
• Anticipated graduation date between December 2024 - May 2025

What you will do:

• Monitor databases: perform health checks and security checks and audits, including compliance-related reporting & controls
• Database queries and configuration with supervision
• Maintenance (proactive, reactive and automated), both scheduled and unscheduled
• Simple trouble-shooting and repairs, and ensure the availability of the database
• Report on state of databases
• Participate in team meetings
• Learn database-related tools (monitoring systems, tool repositories, ticketing systems, etc.).
• Manage database users and security/access control with supervision

What you will need:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to manage time, responsibilities, and priorities effectively with emphasis on contribution
• Demonstrable analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Exposure to Database Technology stack
• Relational Database Fundamentals
• SQL
• UNIX
• Windows
