We're looking for a talented software engineer who is passionate about the environment to help us combine newer innovative technologies, such as automated meter reading, and produce a new more streamlined way to track and report utility consumption.  

Responsibilities

• Under the mentorship of a high-qualified environmental health and safety and corporate social responsibility professional work to construct a practical first-look at the cross-section between the IoT and sustainability reporting.
• Interface with various internal and external stakeholders to understand how these metrics are currently being collected and reported, and devise a technical solution to automated data collection, analytics, and graphical reporting.
• Output a version of working data collection automation, analytics, reporting for utility usage.  Scope of work can be defined based upon initial investigation and feasibility study in conjunction with mentor.
• Work with various internal stakeholders and facilities to determine the completeness of MSDS (material safety data sheets) by facility and update database to ensure all reporting is accurate.
