THE ROLE

LUMEN’S INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IS A PATH FOR CAREER READINESS IN THE 4TH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION.

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT Analyst in our Strategic Planning and Transformation organization, you will be a part of the Vendor Management Organization and Software Asset Management team who manages all software purchases and renewals for all software within Strategic Planning and Transformation. The team is also responsible for managing unused software and managing software use against our contractual rights across Strategic Planning and Transformation.

The intern candidate for this role should be excited about learning, analytics, and collaborating with a team. You will assist with entries in our software asset management tool and collect software usage data and compare it to our contract license entitlements.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CANDIDATE

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior or master’s level education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2022 – May 2023.

• Education/Degree: In pursuit of degree in a Business or Technical degree field is preferred.

• Position will be located in Broomfield, CO or Remote 

• Proficiency and understanding of;  -    Business Analytics

-    Excel and MS Office -    MS Teams

• Familiarity with software and basic licensing terms, or interest in learning -    Strong drive for results and taking initiative -    Ability to be resourceful and adaptable

-    Ability to collaborate and be agile -    Strong written and verbal communication skills -    Ability to interact with business partners and drive the conversation. -    Flexible and adapts well to change -    US work authorization 

• Work Setting -    Ideally the position will be in one of the following offices: Broomfield -CO, Littleton-CO or Remote

-    Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours be week during the 10-week program (June – August) -    Intern must have reliable transportation to/from work location (Lumen does not provide transportation to/from Lumen office locations) -    US work authorization
