The Industrial Engineering Intern will assist in evaluation of programs and processes to find ways to eliminate waste in production processes, devise efficient systems that integrate workers, machines, materials, and information to make process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and design language into projects and activities.
• Work on all stages of industrial design development in the repair operations.
• Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with industrial design and development guidelines and manufacturing standards.
• Understand overall product repair flows to recommend and implement changes to designs and technology as needed to improve processes that impact KPIs.

• Junior/Senior Bachelor Degree-Related Major (i.e. Industrial Design).
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability.
• Excellent skills and ability to take ideas/proof of concept to implementation.
• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in electronics and mobile industry is a plus.
• Willingness to learn manufacturing and production methods.
• Previous studies should include statistics, production systems planning, and manufacturing systems design, among others.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. Simultaneously work multiple projects, in support of other designers.
