    THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a Process Analyst intern in our North America Operations organization, you will work in the Service Delivery organization to help with process optimization for service delivery from order to service activation. Activities during the 10 weeks will aim to help streamline tasks in the delivery process for various  products. Intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with business stakeholders to assess existing processes and identify process improvement areas. You will need a high level of engagement and ability to take initiative, ask probing questions, learn quickly, and work in a team environment. Other tasks may include:

    •     Work on process optimization projects to improve business throughput, specifically, how we deliver major products. 

    •     Learn to use a process mining tool and work with cross-functional teams to identify business issues and capture requirements to solve process issues. 

    •     Create documentation for process improvement 

    •     Analyze data and use data to obtain buy-in and support from key stakeholders 

    •     Review steps in a variety of processes to understand the delivery steps and interdependencies when identifying real time problems and defining solutions

      WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CANDIDATE

    Education Requirements

    •     Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university- rising senior or masters level status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2023 – May 2024.

    •     Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in MIS, CIS, Business, Operations, or a related field.

    Proficiency and understanding of:

    •     Microsoft Suites 

    •     Excel proficient

    •     SQL

    •     PowerBI experience is a plus

    •     ServiceNow experience is a plus

    •     Experience with Data Visualization tools is a plus

    •     Data Mining experience is a plus

    Professional Attributes

    •     Ability to collaborate effectively with business owners as well as with technical teams who design Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

    •     Strong written and verbal communication skills 

    •     Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to analyze business processes to identify process improvements and optimization opportunities

    •     Ability to work in a team and or be self directed.

    •     Self-motivated and inquisitive

    •     Driven by need to find solution to problems

    •     Ask questions and act on answers

    •     Business process design or improvement interest and experience

    •     Experience as a business analyst collecting and documenting requirements

    Work Setting

    •     Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours a week during the 10-week program (June – August)

    •     Intern must have reliable transportation to/from work location: Broomfield, CO or WFH (Lumen does not provide transportation to/from Lumen office locations)

    •     US work authorization
