    As a 2021 Summer Intern with FIS, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 7, 2021 and conclude on August 13, 2021.

    About The Team

    FIS has the industry's largest product and service portfolio. You will join a very team-oriented culture working with the best and brightest in sales and account management.

    What you will be doing

    • You will ensure that a select group of customers are satisfied with company projects and services and remains in a positive reference status.
    • You will be responsible for creating early stage opportunities that will develop into a healthy pipeline through various engagement methods – email, calling and meetings.
    • You will support the mitigation strategy on multiple accounts that become at-risk of churn at the discretion of senior relationship managers.
    • You will develop and manage on an on-going basis an account plan for a small portfolio of accounts and develop strategies to expand the FIS footprint in these accounts.
    • You will be consistent and effective in communicating your closing strategy on various opportunities.
  • Qualifications

    What You Bring

    • Rising Senior (graduating December 2021 through May 2022)
    • Experience in working with and understand customer interactions, especially at a corporate level
    • Willingness to stay engaged with customers and work through issues as needed
    • A strong desire to achieve and exceed your measures of success (quotas, metrics, & goals)
    • An ability to work across various teams, groups and organizations inside FIS, including openness to bring in other players, sellers, and leaders as needed
    • Any experience in financial software, Software as a Service, and the payments industry are very beneficial to this role

    Added bonus if you have:

    • Prior consulting experience working with customers in projects or implementations
    • Have accomplished quota achievement in sales or account roles
    • Building account plans
