    ABOUT THE TEAM

    As a 2023 Summer Intern with FIS, you will benefit from on-the-job training and mentoring along with participation in team projects, community service events, social outings, and professional development.

    This is a full time (40 hrs/week) paid internship that will begin June 5, 2023 and conclude on August 11, 2023 with opportunities in the following locations:

    • Atlanta, Georgia

    • Cincinnati, Ohio

    • Jacksonville, Florida

    • Little Rock, Arkansas

    • Milwaukee, Wisconsin

    • Orlando, Florida

    • St. Pete, Florida

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    As an FIS Sales intern, you will receive the opportunity to enhance your professional and sales skills while gaining insight into financial technology (FinTech) sales and the FIS solutions that drive the financial services industry.

    • Work directly with the FIS Banking Solutions and Capital Market’s sales organizations completing projects and tasks that directly impact sales pursuits and results

    • Obtain knowledge and gain exposure to various professional B2B selling roles – business development, sales executive, account manager, solution consultant, sales enablement & operations

    • Participate in weekly education sessions featuring various topics and leaders from across FIS

    • Learn about and support various stages of the sales process

    • Participate in meetings and contribute to current sales organization initiatives

    • Analyze and improve client/prospect data quality in support of sales campaign and prospecting efforts

    • Conduct research, make recommendations, and participate in projects that increase sales effectiveness

    • Develop a final presentation with insights and feedback based on your experience and project work throughout the summer

    • Build your professional network to support future success

    WHAT YOU BRING

    • Rising Senior (graduating December 2023 through May 2024)

    • An interest in financial technology (FinTech) and the way the world pays, banks and invest

    • Curious and open-minded problem solver that wants to engage in meaningful work 

    • Coachable, resilient, self-starting, and adaptable to change

    • Ability to work well independently and within a team

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Excellent listening and analytical skills to determine client business needs and requirements

    • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in professional sales, business/entrepreneurship, finance, marketing or related field and has a desire to continue learning

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
