We are looking for a Social Media Intern that is talented, energetic and digital-savvy; responsible for editing and developing content that reflects Zebra’s strategic goals and needs.  This role will work closely with the Global Social Media team members to publish content, update social media accounts and conduct reporting as necessary. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Performs all activities within tight deadlines to meet project goals and objectives.
• Becomes intimately familiar with all social media content.
• Analyzes and evaluates content to ensure error-free grammar, spelling and formatting.
• Basic web design and social media content creation.
• Upload content and assist with publishing in Oracle Social Relationship Management (SRM).
• Proactively generates ideas, juggles multiple assignments, pays close attention to detail and meets short turnarounds and deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Junior/Senior with a Bachelor Degree-Related Major (i.e. Marketing, Communications, Technology, Media/Journalism).
• Strong writing and proofreading skills.
• Self-starter with a team player attitude, comfortable both taking initiative and working in collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. SharePoint, Content Management Systems and Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
• Experience using social media networks and platforms highly desired.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
