Zebra’s Software Engineering team is looking for an intern to assist in our Enterprise Solutions Software development. The team is responsible for the research, analysis, requirements, design, coding, testing, and integration of Enterprise Solutions Software into Zebra’s next generation mobile device solutions.

The Solutions Software Interns will have the opportunity to work with the senior engineering team to research, design, develop and productize the cutting-edge Enterprise Solutions Software that would be used in the fields such as field mobility, retail, healthcare and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Understanding requirements for creating Enterprise solutions software targeting verticals such as Field Mobility, Retail, Health Care and Warehouse Management.
• Self-driven, willingness to bring ideas and contribute to the development of Enterprise solutions software.
• Design and develop solutions software with experienced architects and developers.
• Interact with product and engineering team, and provide technical insights.
• Adapt machine learning in Enterprise solutions software.

• Candidate must be in the process of attaining a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree from an accredited university by 2019
• Demonstrable experience in Java programming
• Experience with Android application development is desired
• Experience in software development using Java on Windows OS is plus.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning is a big plus
• Knowledge and experience in the Agile software development methodologies is desired
• Excellent communications skills, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills
