The Acxiom Information Technology Project Management Office team is looking for an Intern to learn how to become a Technical Project Manager. This role will focus on infrastructure management, upgrades, and migrations.
You will begin building project management skills and be exposed to groundbreaking edge cloud-based technologies while working alongside some of the best engineers, architects, and leadership teams in the industry!
INTERNSHIP DETAILS:
The internship will begin on January 9, 2023
Our intention is to have interns work on-site in Conway, Arkansas if possible. However, your internship may begin virtually and could continue virtually for its entirety. We plan to transition interns to on-site work when teams transition back into the office, but we currently do not have a timeline for this transition
Up to 40 hours/week work dedication during summer and breaks, 20-25/week during the semester
Anticipated graduation date May 2023 - December 2024
Applicants for this internship position with Acxiom in the U.S. must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Acxiom (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (CPT/OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
Identify tasks and the items needed to achieve a goal
Monitor the quality and timeliness of project work
Identifies potential problems or issues as they arise and makes necessary adjustment to complete task
Develop presentations for leadership updates
Identify conflict and drives to positive resolution
Identifies specific resources, and resource availabilities based on predetermined requirements
Track resource use and dependencies for projects.
Track progress and verifies task completion against project plans
Identify and communicate project roadblocks and dependencies that can impact other projects
Advocate and promote processes that facilitate communication among program/project managers and other key project partners
Recognize process improvement opportunities
Ensure all project close out activities are completed and documented
