    THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a UCC Associate Product Manager the intern will help drive innovation and product development for our UC&C portfolio. They will help create the strategy for new service solutions within our Lumen Enablement Services product offering. As a UCC Associate Product Manager there will be ample opportunity to work with cross functional teams such as Marketing, IT, Sales, and Support. The focus will be on helping to create the UC&C content for our Continuous Adoption platform. The intern will get to learn about our three UC&C partner platforms (Zoom, Cisco and Microsoft) and create digital learning assets such as, getting started guides, quick help video’s and what’s new articles for our Lumen customers. Our Lumen Enablement Services portfolio has a wide variety of services centered on training and adoption, cloud connectivity, consulting and technical design, SIP Connected Audio and UC&C Professional Services.  These elements allow the customers to leverage their existing investments, connect those services to the cloud and have subject matter experts who can help with setting up, deploying and training the customer so that they can maximize their Return On Investment (ROI).

    Responsibilities may include the following:

    • Create content specific to the UC&C applications that customers purchase through Lumen.

    • Working with Partners to digest new features, review content for quality audit purposes and ultimately deliver world class services that make it easier for end users to adopt the UC&C solution that they purchased from Lumen.

    • Meet with Product Development and Lumen IT teams to define UC&C product requirements and build out features and capabilities for deployment.

    • Help answer questions about the UC&C services for Sales.

    • Help to present the Lumen value prop and evangelize the Lumen Enablement Services portfolio to internal and external stakeholders.

    WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CANDIDATE

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, computer science, management, or closely related field

    • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university; junior or senior level education status at the start of the internship (graduating August 2023 – June 2024).

    • GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred, not required

    • Must be available to work 30 – 40 hours, during the specified 10-week timeframe.

    • Able to execute on a set of deliverables by thinking critically and communicating effectively to multiple teams.

    • Experience with leading teams or group projects.

    • Willingness to roll up their sleeves and learn new things. UC&C is fast paced and agile environment where things come out on a monthly basis.

    • Highly motivated with a strong business and technical aptitude of cloud services.

    • Strong communication (oral and written), analytical, decision making, negotiating, time management, problem solving and organizational skills.

    • Financial skills and analytic competence to perform cost analysis.

    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio) applications.
