THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an energetic and talented User Experience Designer Intern to join our nimble, data-driven, and fully distributed internal creative team. Responsibilities will include designing wireframes and prototypes for Lumen.com., conducting user testing studies, analyzing data to inform page designs, and compiling relatable findings. We are looking for a collaborative team member who will enhance our user and customer experiences as we build new e-commerce capabilities and work to communicate and share Lumen’s commitment as a technology leader. In the User Experience Designer Intern role, the intern will work closely with Lumen's Corporate Marketing Creative Team to develop impeccable creative content. 

• Design data-driven wireframes for Lumen.com with attention to page optimization, improved customer experience, scalable responsive design, and B2B e-commerce patterns. 

• Work cross-functionally to drive elegant UX design & feasible customer solutions from early concept through final implementation.

• Leverage user testing data alongside behavioral analysis to inform digital designs 

• Interest and ability to learn and utilize new applications relating to design, user testing, data analytics, and/or e-commerce 

• Familiarity with Adobe XD, user testing, Contentsquare, and/or Adobe Analytics is a plus.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CANDIDATE

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Centered Design, Human Factors, Marketing/Advertising, Graphic Design, Creative Technology & Design, or closely related field 

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university; junior or senior level education status at the start of the internship (graduating August 2023 – June 2024).

• Provide link to digital portfolio to rev

• GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred, not required 

• Must be available to work 30 – 40 hours, during the specified 10-week timeframe. 

• Experience in UX design a plus 

• Ability to manage and balance multiple strategic priorities and projects

WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT
