This entry level role, which is part of the verizon campus program, will give you a chance to channel your drive and enthusiasm. You will be front and center, hands-on and contributing your creative energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive. In this role, you may have the opportunity to:

• Work on operational audit programs that target high-risk areas in the company’s controls, systems, and processes.
• Present practical recommendations to senior leaders and prepare written audit reports to document your findings.
• Collaborate with and educate process owners regarding the importance of maintaining strong internal controls and the role of internal audit.

You’ll need to have:

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in accounting, finance, business administration, data analytics, business intelligence, economics, business IT, statistics or math at an accredited college or university with an expected completion date by June 2020 or current enrollment in a master’s degree program in accounting at an accredited college or university with an expected completion date completion date by June 2020.
• Authorization to work in the u.s. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Even better if you have:

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Completed education credits for cpa eligibility or working towards it.
• Demonstrated independent thinking, relationship management and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving team environment.
• Proficiency with ms office products (word, excel, powerpoint) or g suite products
• Experience or knowledge of the following: data querying and analytics, record reconciliation, sql.
