What you’ll Achieve:

The Junior 5G RAN systems intern will be a team member of a brand new, built from the ground up Research & Development team, supported by amazing team members. You will learn about the cutting-edge technologies in 5G systems as well as telecom standards such as 3GPP and ORAN. The way of working in a world class, multinational technology company which can benefit you greatly in your future career. The team is responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and implementing a technology new to Dell for addressing the demands of the 5G Radio subsystem for operators, and to help our customers to exploit this significant market evolution.  

You Will:

• Learn how wireless mobile networks work and are architected
• Have exposure to the world of 3GPP and O-RAN specifications that modern wireless networks are based on. You will get to see how large complex systems are built using modern engineering methods.
• Work closely with various teams to help with evolution of system architecture of various wireless telecom network nodes.

Essential Requirements:

• Fascination and curiosity to learn about 5G technology. Willing to dig into specifications that define wireless networks all over the world
• Organized, goal-oriented, self-starter, with a team focused mentality, a desire to take your coding to the next level, and acts with integrity
• You are a student working towards a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Wireless communication technologies or a related discipline

Desirable Requirements

• Internship experience in telecommunications or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Familiarity with telecom specifications, simulation, and exposure to emulation tools in wireless industry
