As a member of our FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS) team, you will bring your passion, education and experience to this critical mission and interact directly with decision-makers and government staff who are tasked with ensuring the nation's air transportation system's underlying communications infrastructure is secure and always available. We are hiring skilled and energetic candidates to work alongside the best and brightest employees on a long-term career opportunity to design, build and operate the next generation NAS network supporting the busiest, most complex aerospace system in the world.
Program and P&L Management: • Assisting with defining and managing program activities to meet VzB goals for financial performance • Developing and implement Team goals per overall plans • Leading a dedicated staff while supporting other internal teams indirectly such as Solution Development, Transition and Implementation, Network Operations, Security Operations, Lifecycle Engineering, and Vendor Management • Managing team's deliverables to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) • Overseeing Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for all contract transactions are conducting in a timely manner and in accordance with Corporate policy • Analyzing Program's IMS against all Task Orders (TOs) and review funding balances to ensure financial health from inception to completion focusing on maintaining a positive cash flow • Reviewing/finalizing draft customer communications projecting funds depletion dates and funds necessary to complete task is accurate and complete • Overseeing subcontractor TO funding working with Sourcing and team to ensure sufficient funds are in place for work to be performed and billed • Participating in Sourcing led monthly subcontractor performance meetings with suppliers and professional services vendors to review previous month's work, address funding concerns, and review projected work needs • Reviewing account charge number alignment with TO WBS, information is set up in system correctly, and distributed to staff in a timely manner; if anomalies occur work with team to implement corrective action • Reviewing TO financials at period close for accuracy, input the data into customer required monthly report & quarterly program management reviews (QPMRs), and provide an explanation for out-of-cycle financial anomalies • Participating in QPMRs providing contract and TO financial insight • Engaging with technical, contractual, and matrixed staff to solve tactical and strategic challenges • Analyzing processes for efficiency and assembling/presenting recommendations for improvement
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have....
Bachelor's degreed or four or more years of experience
Six or more years of relevant work experience
Ability to obtain a US Public Trust clearance
Even better if you have one or more of the following....
Proven ability to solve complex problems by isolating the core issue, addressing the concern, and assembling options for the team to consider
Strong written and verbal communicator capable of articulating financial information to an audience with diverse professional backgrounds in-person and remotely
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently to fulfill customer requirements
Experience using MS Office including Project, Google Office, an enterprise accounting system, EVM tool, and SharePoint
Experience supporting the federal government
Managed and negotiated with internal and external organizations
AMS familiarization
Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
