Job Description:
Laptop and Desktop Support Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Laptop and Desktop Support Technician to join our team to provide support at our client’s location
You Will:
• Be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for laptops and desktops used in the lab with a secondary focus on managing mobile devices using Microsoft Intune Key Responsibilities Technical Support
• Provide timely and effective technical support for laptops and desktops including troubleshooting hardware software and operating system Windows 10 Windows11 issues
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates hardware upgrades and system backups to ensure the smooth operation of lab equipment
• Install and configure new laptops and desktops ensuring they meet the specific requirements of the refinery lab
• Assist lab personnel with technical issues providing guidance and training as needed
• Manage mobile devices using Microsoft Intune; including configuration deployment and monitoring of mobile device policies
• Maintain accurate records of support requests resolutions and equipment inventory
• Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with company policies
• Work closely with other IT staff and lab personnel to identify and address technical needs and improvements
• Work primarily in a refinery lab setting with occasional visits to other areas of the refinery as needed.
