  • Responsibilities

    The Expert Marketing Technology Solutions Architect is a technical and consultative role on the Marketing Technology Enablement services team for Acxiom and to our customers.

    You will design and facilitate integrations between MarTech platforms, developing solutions for data activation and create data flows to optimize achievement of business objectives and technical efficiency.

    You will provide solutions that unify client data with Acxiom data and identity products with SaaS marketing technology ecosystems composed of a mixture of CDPs, DMPs, Web Analytics, and Personalization/Optimization software, in addition to upstream and downstream use cases. You are responsible for solution design, software implementation and integration, and will manage technical engagements with both internal and external clients where the goal is an integrated decision science driven ecosystem. This role can be located almost anywhere in the U.S.

    What you will do

    • DESIGN INTEGRATED SOLUTIONS based on client requirements and technology as well as Acxiom products
    • TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION AND CONSULTING - gather requirements directly from internal stakeholders and clients and lead technical integration activities related to setup, configuration, and DEPLOYMENT OF SOLUTIONS AND INTEGRATIONS WITH SAAS MARKETING TECHNOLOGIES across providers.
    • INTEGRATION and production platform management
    • CONTRIBUTE TO THE IDEATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF NEW ACXIOM SOLUTIONS and integrations with the MAdTech ecosystem
    • SUPPORT CONSULTING PROJECTS drawing upon experience with digital environments and marketing technology
  • Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor ' s degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience
    • 5+ years of experience in technical roles including 2+ years in a technical position associated with ad or marketing technologies. Customer facing role a plus.
    • Experience with digital advertising technology implementation and operations such as tracking pixels, tags, server-to-server integrations, tag management, and analytics tools.
    • Highly proficient with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
    • Well-versed in at least one of framework stacks such as J2EE, .NET, LAMP or MEAN
    • Experience using Agile, Scrum, Unified Modeling Language (UML), Rational Unified Process (RUP) or any iterative process
    • Experience in ONE OR MORE types of the following digital and/or MAd Technologies:
      • CDPs (Adobe Experience Platform, Tealium AudienceStream, Treasure Data, BlueConic, etc.),
      • Web Analytics (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) o Personalization/Optimization engines (Adobe Target, Oracle Maxymizer, Optimizely, etc.)
      • Tag Management Systems (Tealium IQ, Ensighten, Adobe DTM or Launch) o DSPs (The Trade Desk, MediaMath, Criteo, etc.)
      • DMPs (Adobe Audience Manager, Salesforce Audience Studio (Krux), Oracle DMP (BlueKai), Amobee, Neustar, etc.)
    • Strong presentation and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Ability to document use-cases, business requirements, functional documentation, technical specifications, and solutions diagrams for scale and repeatability
    • Systems integration experience designing data flows and procedures to ingest, process, and export data across multiple systems
    • Willingness to travel ~25% depending on location, client(s)

    WHAT SETS YOU APART:

    • Some programming/development experience (Java/Node.js/Python/Ruby on Rails/SQL)
    • A data engineering background
    • Experience with Google Cloud Platform
    • Experience with mobile app SDKs, API integrations, and/or cloud development
    • Solid understanding of data reporting and digital advertising best practices
    • Experience with AI and/or ML integrations and solutions
    • Possess a proactive, consultative, innovative, and problem-solving mindset to customer success
    • Solid understanding of general business models, concepts, and strategies and the ability to communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences
