What you’ll be doing...

“Must be a current participant of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program or of the Hiring our Heroes Fellowship Programs”

As part of this team, you will play a meaningful role in our network transformation through building a unified network across all lines of business and maintaining the technology that keeps millions of our customers connected.

• Operating the best networks and systems through the technical expertise of the team and effective outage prevention/resolution.
• Producing technical documentation for automation and deployment processes.
• Implementing health checks to monitor Network health, reduce outage probability, and risk.
• Engaging vendors, other platform owners and various support teams to resolve issues.

What we’re looking for...

You must be detail-oriented, think critically to solve issues in real-time and focus on maximizing customer uptime and minimizing impact.

You’ll need to have:

• “Must be a current participant of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program or of the Hiring our Heroes Fellowship Programs”
• Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years or relevant work experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain FAA Public Trust Suitability Background Investigation

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Manage/coordinate shipment of test equipment between FAA sites in support of transition efforts.
• Maintains sparing inventory of FAA FENS equipment.
• Provides all shipping and receiving services for all FAA FENS spares equipment.
• Generates monthly reports detailing inventory levels, transfers, and RMAs.
• Responsible for maintaining all inventory and transfer records within the inventory management system.
• Responsible for ensuring transfers are properly signed and accounted for.
• Responsible for equipment inventory to include procuring, configuration, and shipment of equipment.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems Management, or any STEM-based degree.
• Experience with telecom networking, networks and technologies, equipment designs and configuration procedures, and inventory.
