    What you’ll be doing...

    This Chief of Staff position supports the VP, Indirect Partner Channels for Verizon Consumer Group. This role will support the leadership team of the Indirect organization in Strategic Planning, Project Management and Coordination of Resources for highly impactful programs.

    • Planning strategies across Verizon Consumer Group Partner Channels including developing an organizational framework and coordinating back with the Leadership team.

    • Creating executive presentations including creating the organizational narrative.

    • Managing projects surrounding executive readouts and key initiatives from the leadership team.

    • Managing team facilitation by maintaining team governance for Operation Reviews, Staff meetings, and other key executive meetings.

    • Leading varied ad hoc projects that require coordination across the senior executive team.

    • Providing strategic recommendations to Sr. leaders on key strategic business decisions.

    • Managing the Partner Channels leadership document repository.

    • Collecting and analyzing data in order to ensure meetings are relevant, effective and well-received.

    • Identifying opportunities based on feedback and developing plans to improve executive meetings.

    • Developing streamlined processes and improving templates/formats to ensure succinct communication across the team and to business / channel partners.

    • Managing matters relating to operations in Partner Channels from budget management, contract/vendor management, resource management, culture, communications, real estate, etc.

    This role requires VCG in-office days of 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday)

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

    • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

    • Demonstrated experience in partnering with strategic sales channels in Verizon Home Internet (VHI) consumer sales, marketing and operations.

    • Demonstrated experience in establishing and cultivating cross functional partnerships.

    • Experience managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.

    • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • Master's Degree

    • Proven ability to create effective short- and long-term Digital strategies.

    • Exceptional skills creating executive level presentations.

    • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

    • Expert in communications - verbal and written.

    • Strategic and analytical ability; skilled at collecting and analyzing data to make appropriate process/business decisions/recommendations.

    • Self-starter that learns and adapts quickly to new systems, software and hardware.

    • Excellent organization and time-management skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict and bring about resolution.

    • Ability to think strategically and analytically.

    • Proven ability to interact with all levels of management.

    • Strong management skills with experience managing employees remotely.

    • Ability to organize around a problem and engage various teams to solve the challenge.

    • Prior experience with developing executive level deliverables (VP/SVP level).

    Where you’ll be working

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

    The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

    The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $108,000.00 - $188,000.00.
