    Your Role and Responsibilities

    IBM is hiring for the P-TECH at IBM Bridge Program. This full time (40 hours per week) 18-week paid externship starts on September 19, 2022 and ends on January 20, 2023.

    As part of an effort to engage with and develop talent, the Bridge program is designed to grow professional and technical skills and support competitive candidacy for Apprenticeship or Entry Level roles. You will complete multiple learning paths, complete an assigned project, and practice our ways of working, including IBM Design Thinking and Agile methodologies.Training will focus initially on professional development, then participants will have the ability to select introductory learning from a variety of technical paths, including:

    • Application Development
    • Software Engineering
    • System Support
    • Network Administration
    • Cybersecurity
    • Data Science

    This role is U.S.-based and on-site/hybrid. Participants will be expected to commute to their local IBM office on a regular basis.

    If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation for the position is $19.21 hourly, based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Current or previous graduate of IBM-affiliated P-TECH school
    • Ability to work full time, adhering to Monday - Friday scheduled hours for the full 18-week program.
    • Willingness to complete the requirements of the Bridge program
