The Contract Administrator will work as a lead member of the Contracts team to ensure contract terms meet company legal and business goals and standards through effective drafting, negotiation and coordination. This role is responsible for collaborating with various levels of the organization preparing contract documents that protect the interests of Perficient, and will serve as a liaison between operations, sales, talent acquisition, and finance in the review, prioritization, and oversight of the contracting process to ensure prompt completion of the contract cycle. The Contract Administrator must efficiently manage a large volume and variety of contracts, negotiating numerous agreements simultaneously while identifying issues for attorney support where appropriate. Being a leader and advisor is an expectation of this position. ResponsibilitiesSubject matter expert on company policies relating to contracts and the contracting process. Performs analysis and assessment of contract risk and advises stakeholders of appropriate risk mitigation strategy to protect the organization. Acts as full spectrum liaison between customer/vendor and sales/talent acquisition, operations, and finance. Maintains constant communication with team and key stakeholders to ensure timely contract progress and decision-making.Ensures accuracy of preparation of company contracts. Handles initial intake of customer legal questions/ issues/notices.Handles organization and maintenance of all company contracts.Ensures organization is in compliance with all contracts. Monitors compliance.Initiates recommendations for updates to company standard templates and assists in drafting new templates as needed by the business.Provides scheduled reporting and ad hoc reporting as required.Builds positive relationships and partnerships across the business and functional teams.Provides escalation assistance to team members; recommends potential solutions to issues; follows established escalation procedures; resolves complex issues.Assists with the development and communications of standards, processes, and procedures across responsibilities.Meets deadlines while producing quality results.Works under minimal supervision. QualificationsRequired:Hands-on experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts. Law firm/in-house corporate experiences a plus. Services industry experience a plus.High level of responsiveness and exceptional customer service.Self-motivated individual who has the adaptability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual; possesses a whatever it takes philosophy.Well-developed skills and knowledge base in the field of services contracts is essential. Excellent negotiating skills.Ability to change priorities dependent upon organizational need.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, be detail oriented, manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Excellent problem-solving capability and out of the box thinking to ensure forward movement in contracting process.Effective and professional oral and written communication skills.Bachelor's degree in related business field and/or paralegal training required.Minimum 2 years of contract administration experience.
