The Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) organization delivers the essential infrastructure for organizations to build their digital future, transform IT from core to cloud to edge and protect their most important asset: information! This includes understanding and rapidly responding to market requirements, effectively planning and developing future innovations, and leveraging the power of the industry’s most complete portfolio.

As a member of our ISG internship experience, you will be part of an intern team where you will all be driving an end to end project that will make a big impact towards our ISG Strategy. Your project team will be supported by technical subject matter experts, mentors and peer advisors that will provide day to day support, grow your Dell network, and assimilate you into the Dell and ISG culture.

As a Portfolio Management intern you will work with our Product Management and Engineering Technologist teams. These teams are responsible for the cross-functional management of products or solutions through their entire lifecycle. Previous projects have focused on market analyses for new technologies, roadmap recommendations, and designing new, enhanced processes for sharing technical content to customers and sales. These are just a few examples of the dynamic and important projects of our summer interns in Portfolio Management. The internship is designed to ensure you have a tangible deliverable at the end of the program leaving interns with a sense of accomplishment and impact. The internship is also a primary recruitment tool for our full-time New Hire Rotation Program in Portfolio Management.

• Working towards a BS, MS, or MBA with a focus on Business, Information Systems, or Information Technology
• Passionate about business and market intelligence
• Desire to work closely with customers and engineering developers
• Knowledge of product and software development lifecycle methodologies
• Exposure to or experience in computer science/computer engineering programming
• Highly motivated with a learning mindset and an ability to ramp quickly
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will make you a great collaborator in a global team environment
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver results with a sense of urgency
