What you’ll be doing...
Our testing team tests products and services on the FIOS digital platform from a user perspective. The employee will be part of the test team that tests ordering from a new and existing customer experience.
This role will support both the execution of test plans pre-launch and post-launch. You will be testing and executing tests across our FIOS Digital platform. In addition, you will ensure proper use of defect management tools and assign defects to the appropriate business owner.
Responsibilities:
QA environment testing preparation and readiness (data quality, availability, system ties, etc.)
Testing management & execution (coordination, communications, collaboration, scheduling, etc.)
Process Improvement recommendations
Executing manual testing where needed
Ensuring all issues are properly reported and communicated out to the business leaders and stakeholders
Partnering with peer teams and setting up proper in-take of work from inside/outside teams
Assessing and analyzing improvement opportunities and develop solutions for closing gaps, eliminating redundancies and inconsistencies in all areas related to digital regression testing
Partnering with GTS, Digital operational teams, and others to define requirements for change and enhancements to current tools and reports
Leading and providing input and guidance for the delivery of information to be used in the development of business cases
Lead planning and coordination of coverage areas and present of proposed solutions to gain consensus

Managing multiple high-visibility projects, you handle it all with ease.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's Degree or three or more years of work experience
Three or more years of relevant work experience
Experience testing digital FIOS ordering in a production environment
Experience with Qtest and Jira
Experience with testing automation frameworks
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Applied testing automation best practices and processes
Experience with Agile processes
Excellent analytical skills
Past experience testing monthly FIOS releases for VZ.com
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to quickly learn and adopt to new applications
A strong desire for learning
QA Certifications

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $70,000.00 and $130,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
