Your Role and Responsibilities

• Come build the future of quantum with us. IBM’s full-stack approach delivers the best of IBM’s quantum computing systems together with the most complete suite of quantum software tools and cloud services.
• As an engineer with IBM Quantum, your job will be to advance the development of quantum computing systems.
• Areas of engineering include hardware, firmware, superconducting qubits, cryoelectronic circuit design, quantum microwave engineering, and quantum FPGA engineering (among other areas).

Eligibility Requirements:

• Please note candidates must have recently complete a graduate program in order to be eligible for this job opportunity.
• Quantum engineers will work at either the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center (Yorktown Heights, NY, USA) or one of the IBM Systems labs in
  Rochester, MN, USA or Poughkeepsie, NY, USA.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in a graduate or undergraduate program related to quantum computing or other applicable area of study
• Coursework or projects in quantum information, computation, algorithms, or other area of research related to quantum computing
• Research experience in an area of study related to quantum computing

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with the Python programming language and use of (or exposure to) the Qiskit quantum computing framework
• Recognition as a Qiskit Advocate
• Certification as an IBM Quantum Developer (Quantum Computation using Qiskit)
